Concussion and hormone imbalances

It is a well known thing that head injury is a common cause of death and disability among young adults. What is less known or focused on is that head injury is often a major cause of hormonal imbalance, particularly the hormones that are released from the pituitary gland in the brain.

Patients often present with symptoms like brain fog, weight gain, fatigue, cold intolerance, loss of their period, loss of sexual desire, poor stamina, reduced memory function, and many other symptoms.

Unfortunately many of these symptoms are thought of as normal post-concussion symptoms rather then pituitary dysfunction, leaving many people struggling to get better.

If you've had a concussion in the past, it's important that you get properly evaluated. You don't have to suffer in silence.
